Content and trust.
Check service descriptions, contact details, pricing qualifications, and business information. Confirm that all images and reviews are authorized and attributed appropriately. Remove placeholder content and make sure policies describe what the website actually does.
The customer journey.
Walk through the main tasks from a phone and a desktop. Open the menu, follow service links, submit a test inquiry, and confirm it reaches the intended destination. Check error messages and empty states as carefully as the successful path.
- Usable labels and touch targets
- Visible keyboard focus
- Form confirmation and owner receipt
- Accessible reduced-motion behavior
Search and sharing.
Check page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, indexing settings, and the sitemap. Map important old URLs to the right new pages. Preview how the homepage and key pages look when shared. A private preview should stay out of search until the public domain is ready.
Ownership and ongoing care.
Document where the domain, hosting, content, and submissions live. Confirm who receives account notices, who can edit the site, and how backups work. Agree the process for updates and support so the finished website is manageable after launch.
